When you visit your local retailer most will fit the standard equipment they supply to the maximum amount of money that they can
persuade you to pay! This is unlikely to provide you with the best machine to suit your needs and even less likely to be value
for money. Very few will actually ask the key question, "What do you wish to do with the machine." Even fewer will have much
idea how to use this information and indeed are often limited to a selection of a few products that will inevitably fall into
the rough categories of cheap and cheerful, average and the best of everything.
They are mass produced to suit them, not you!
So why would you come to me? Well I can custom build a machine to suit you or possibly upgrade your current PC or find a suitable
second hand machine. An often unconsidered point is that few suppliers will actually install the machine and those that do rarely
actually test it. About 15% of my customers are people who have just purchased a machine and have found it impossible to work
the equipment due to some faulty installation issue, which the original seller refuses to do anything other than tell the
customer how to fix it over the phone - despite the so called on-site warranty. I will not only stress test all computers
that I supply before I supply it, but will also test it on-site and provide a quick half hour tutorial in how to use the
machine. Discounted computer tuition will also be made available for those that require it. All new supplied parts are
guaranteed for 1 year on site provided you stay within the Uckfield area. Anyone who moves out of the area will be on a
return to base warranty for most parts. I want local people to recommend me to all their friends, so you can be sure I
want you to be happy with your purchase.
If you are unhappy with buying from a small independent I will, for a small fee considering your outlay, find a larger supplier
who can reasonably closely supply a machine to suit your needs. But it should be remembered that some large suppliers have pulled
out of the UK market. At least you will always know where to find me.
